On March 12, 2020, Cindy Parlow Cone made history as the first female President of U.S. Soccer, becoming one of only ten female federation presidents across FIFA’s 211 member associations. A National Soccer Hall of Famer, two-time Olympic gold medalist, and former USWNT star with 158 caps and 75 goals, her impact on the game extends far beyond the field. Under her leadership, U.S. Soccer secured a landmark equal pay agreement with the USWNTPA and USNSTPA, setting a global standard for equality in international soccer.
