@thehorrors were formed in 2005 in Southend, England. Their unique sound comes from a blend of an old and new genres - garage rock and post-punk, goth rock and synth pop, shoegaze and psychedelia. They quickly grew in the English scene and internationally, opening for the Arctic Monkeys and Crystal Castles after their first album. Keyboardist Tom Furse's Continental Organ can be heard backing the band while guitarist Josh Hayward has used AC30s, both fitting for the blend of goth and garage rock that the band has crafted.
