By the 19th century, Venetian glass beads reached Gujarat’s pastoral women through maritime trade networks. These women, confined by patriarchal structures, transformed commercial beads into tools of self-expression and cultural preservation. Contemporary interest in glass beads’ cultural significance led Moi & Aurus to the initiative; Unbound by beads. . .
