Arrivederci Roma!! It’s been an amazing family adventure — full of laughter, history, gelato, and those moments that sneak up on you and stay forever. Back in January, when we booked this trip, we hesitated. Like many parents, we asked ourselves if it was the “right time.” Let’s be honest — college tuition isn’t going to pay itself. But I’m so thankful we said yes. Time doesn’t wait, and neither do the memories waiting to be made. I didn’t grow up with a lot, but my family always prioritized giving us meaningful experiences. That shaped me. And now, as a parent, I want the same for our boys — not just to see the world, but to feel it. To understand that life looks different outside the U.S., and that there’s beauty in every corner, every culture. This journey gave us more than photos and souvenirs — it gave us connection, perspective, and stories we’ll carry forever. I hope our boys look back one day and realize this was never just a trip. It was a piece of their foundation.
