With summer fast approaching, we’re pleased to announce the return of last year’s highly experimental workplace program: the Vacation® Floating Office Initiative (pictured above). After extensive evaluation and several insurance claims, the Department of Aquatic Workspaces and Logistics (DAWL) has agreed that holding all company meetings at sea is, in fact, an unparalleled productivity booster — despite some notable incidents last year. As such, we would like to kindly remind all employees that these luxury watercrafts are not permanent office spaces. That means that this year, we are strictly prohibiting employees from moving their entire desks, espresso machines, and 55-gallon LED aquariums onto the vessels. And while last year’s “casual midday voyages” were well-intended, we must firmly discourage any further attempts at unsanctioned nautical expeditions. What started as a quick post-meeting sail quickly escalated into a search for the entire Sales Department, who mistakenly charted course for the Bahamas. Despite these challenges, we remain committed to providing an unparalleled ocean-adjacent work experience and look forward to another season of smooth sailing, strategic thinking, and fewer retrieval missions. Here’s to another successful season of innovation, relaxation, and responsible maritime professionalism. Let’s keep this year’s initiative above water, both figuratively and literally.
