Two best mates who started the brand almost twenty years ago from a humble little Brisbane, QLD barbershop. 12 hour days, 6 days a week. Walk-ins only. Long days. Good banter. “When we started Uppercut Deluxe, we wanted this to be a legacy brand. We sell what works, not selling snake oil or clickbait barbering. And I’m proud real barbers back it. Back when everything went salon, and barbering was dead, we went the other way; rejecting it, going full garage style. We created a place where a bloke could relax. Non pretentious. Zero BS. We just worked hard doing really nice haircuts in a walk-in environment that tested us mentally… but also, we learnt real quick what was and wasn’t needed to create a beautiful haircut and a happy customer.
