This stunning species of mankind is Mr. Melle a.k.a. @mellellllllll and I’ve been giving this ginger gentleman haircuts since 2019 when I first met Melle and his brother when I was looking for red headed models for a photoshoot (Slide 19) and asked him back in 2022 for another @reuzel shoot (Slide 20) Now, this is always a bit of a sensitive subject but since I joined the club of receding hairlines when I was about sixteen/seventeen I think I can call myself an expert on how that makes a man feel… IT SUXX Now that I’m 50 and proudly carry a beautiful tebori tattoo by master @yushi_horikichi on my dome I actually kinda like being bald, it suits me, but I remember treating my last hairs like a 600 year old bonsai tree and when I now see pictures of myself clinging to those remaining strains of youth like a drunk to his curry I think to myself: “Why did nobody tell me I looked like a moldy potato..??” Melle’s hairline has been slowly retreating as well but in his his particular case I think it’s because he’s simply too handsome to have great hair as well 😏😉And YES, I think this punky do works like an absolute charm making him actually look even more handsome than when he was younger… I think this haircut, the short, textured top with the mullet works perfect and goes great with Melle’s great, super creative signature style of dressing… Every outfit in the shots is his own and this Layne Staley look-a-like knows how to ROCK IT!!
