This vintage dresser had been in my work area for months becoming a new table top 😅 it was time to refinish. Two of the feet were damaged so needed repairs I had been seeing soft black scrolling IG, but I did not want to buy new paint, so tried to recreate Process: - clean well with degreaser - Use bondo to reshape feet and fill large dings - Remove failing finish with carbide scraper then scuff sand body and wipe clean - Prime - Paint - Use @retiqueliquidwood #retiqueliquidwood to recreate wood finish on the legs and paint wash with brown paint - Seal with water based top coat in matte + a little of the black paint mixed in to give it a softer, matte look - Add new hardware and drawer liner Follow @flipskifurniture for more furniture before and afters (from a part-time flipper) #furnitureflip #matteblack #dressermakeover
