Realistic ways to “play” in the first month 👇🏾 I’m keeping it as simple as possible when it comes to playing with my little one. As a pediatric PT and newborn mom, I’m focusing on just a few things in this first month: 👶🏽 responding to my baby’s cues + talking / singing to him 💕 introduce playing on a flat surface 🧿 lots of skin to skin / contact naps 😅 survival lol Babies are scrunched up in the womb for nine months, so experiences playing on the floor helps stretch out what’s known as “physiologic flexing” aka the newborn scrunch 🥹 I highly recommend the @tokimats for this!
