The “gilet”, evolved from the French word for “cardigan”, can be traced back to the 15th century. Fortunately, we’ve come a long way since then. The HeriTech Hinterland Gilet range is available in either a regular or “pro” edition, the latter being designed with clay shooting in mind. Both Gilet feature a tapered neck hugging collar for comfort and a centre front YKK Vislon 2-way zip with Hypalon zip pull. Storage capacity is provided by two chest pockets and lower pleated bellow pockets engineered to stay open as required with an internal snap fastening for easy access. A large “poacher” style pocket on the rear of the gilet bolsters capacity for storing hats, gloves and more. Both can be cinched tight with waist snap adjusters and are lined with a quilted, recycled 60gsm Primaloft® Rise for enhanced insulation.
