Repost: @niallkiddle Some great food for thought this weekend 🫶🏼 . . Most people are overstimulated, undernourished, and out of sync with nature. But your body wants to thrive…you just have to stop fighting it. Here’s what I do differently: 1️⃣ I protect my peace the way most people protect their phones. 📵 Most people charge their phone before bed, but never recharge themselves. 🧠 Chronic stress fries your nervous system, wrecks your sleep, and leads to burnout. 🌿 I spend time in silence, say no to draining people, and cut out unnecessary stressors. 💡 Turn off notifications. Unfollow negativity. Take social media breaks. 2️⃣ I don’t count calories, I count nutrients. 🥑 Your body isn’t a math equation… it’s a biological system that runs on real fuel. 🍕 Ultra-processed food leaves you starving, even when you’re full. 🥩 I eat nutrient-dense foods: organ meats, raw dairy, eggs, wild seafood, and grass-fed meat. 🛑 Stop obsessing over numbers and start prioritizing food quality. 3️⃣ I spend more time outside than I do inside. ☀️ Humans weren’t designed to be indoor creatures under artificial light all day. 💡 Lack of sun disrupts hormones, weakens immunity, and kills your energy. 🌞 I get morning sunlight daily, walk after meals, and ground barefoot whenever I can. 🚶‍♂️ Take your work calls outside. Eat in the sun. Move your body outdoors. 4️⃣ I don’t ‘grind’ past 9 PM, I respect my body more than hustle culture. ⏳ Most people sacrifice sleep for productivity, then wonder why they feel like garbage. 💡 Late nights wreck your circadian rhythm, tank your steroid hormones, and spike stress hormones. 🛏️ I dim the lights after sunset, avoid screens at night, and get 8+ hours of real sleep. ❌ Sleep deprivation is not a flex, respect your body. 5️⃣ I detox by sweating, not by drinking overpriced juices. 💦 Your body detoxes naturally, if you let it. 🥤 Juice cleanses are expensive sugar water. Your liver, kidneys and skin do the real detoxing. 🔥 I sauna, train hard, and move daily to support my body’s natural detox pathways. 🚿 Hot exposure. Dry brushing. Daily sweat = real detox. 💡 Which one are you focusing on first?
