Nothing says summer quite like Strawberry Basil Lemonade 🍋 Our holy basil is rocking in the garden and aside from freeze drying weekly, throwing it in every dish, this week we decided to make a fun drink for family dinner. 📌 save this for the recipe 1 cup strawberry 1/4 cup basil (chopped & washed) 1 1/2 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice 1 cup honey or maple syrup 2 cups water (simple syrup) 6 cups cold water In a sauce pan combine syrup and 2 cups water. Stir to heat. In a blender or by hand, blend strawberries and basil until smooth - strain with a fine mesh strainer. In a large pitcher add simple syrup, water, lemon juice and strawberry basil mix. Stir to combine. Serve over ice & garnish with fresh lemon slices, strawberry & basil.
