It’s not a surprise we LOVE fermenting our harvest. Not only is it easy but it’s SO good for you & your gut health. (So I’m resharing this recipe from last year) 🤩 Most recipes are easily modified allowing you to add flavors that you enjoy & man do they sure add a bright taste to any meal. These dilly beans were so easy to make ✌🏼 6lbs green beans 15 garlic cloves, smashed 2 dried chile peppers, chopped 6 bay leaves 2 TBSP pickling spice 1-gallon brine (1/2 cup sea salt to 1-gallon water) Layer in your garlic & spices along with green beans. Beans should fit tight. Pour your brine over the top & make sure all the beans are submerged in the brine (this is important) Place a weight or a follower on top, add muslin cloth or fermenting pipes, and allow to sit on the counter for 7-10 days. Once your ferment is to your liking, remove the weight/follower, add a lid, and secure. Then into the fridge, it goes. Good for up to a year! Curious about fermenting, but not sure where to start?
