Karen Read’s Lawyers are pissed. The Defense argued after the jury left today that the Commonwealths experts new report should be excluded. This report ‘updates’ a critical time correlation to Karen Reads vehicle triggering events. The Commonwealth explained the shift was due to an update in which clock time is accurate and properly correlating Karen Reads SUV time to John O’Keefes phone time. Prosecutors argue this rebuts a defense experts time regarding the SUV. The Defense argues that its late discovery and should be excluded. The Court hasn’t ruled but did ask the defense for alternate remedies to exclusion, citing that she is allowing ARCCA in even though the prosecution argued they should be excluded for late discovery.
