Earlier today, our family lost a true legend—my beautiful Aunt Margie. At 95 years young, she lived a life so full, so vibrant, and so joyful that it felt like she fit two lifetimes into one. What a gift it was to witness her sparkle. She danced, sang, and socialized her way through life like a butterfly—graceful, radiant, and impossible not to notice. Her glamour was effortless, her spirit contagious, and her cheerful presence could light up even the dullest room. She had that rare magic that few do .🙏🏻 Though I didn’t get to speak with her as often as I would have liked in recent years due to her declining health, she was always in my thoughts. Whenever I needed a lift, I’d think of Aunt Margie—her joy, her sass, her sparkle—and try to channel just a little bit of that magnificent “Margie energy.” Some of you might remember that unforgettable video of her singing her heart out in preparation for her 90th birthday big bash the following day (yes she was 90 here)! . It still makes me smile all these years later—it was classic Margie: bold, and full of life. Aunt Margie, may you rest peacefully in heaven. I can already picture you there—singing, dancing, and charming your way into everyone’s hearts, just as you did here. I love you so much and feel incredibly lucky to have had you in my life.
