Do materials matter? We think so. When it comes to furniture for little ones, quality matters, especially if you want it to last. At Sprout, we design furniture to be passed down from child to child, and that starts with what it’s made of. Our workshop isn’t overseas, it’s right here in the USA. That means we work directly with the materials that go into every piece, ensuring quality at every step. While some items are made of particleboard (it’s lighter and cheaper), they don’t hold up well in real life. It can absorb water, break down over time, and can snap under pressure (check out the video 👆). Our furniture is built from solid wood and Baltic Birch Plywood.
