Children often find the world around them highly stimulating, with every sight and sound capturing their attention. This can make it challenging for them to concentrate! By setting up a space facing a wall or with a less stimulating view, we can help them focus better on a task, whether it’s eating, reading, or engaging in creative play. Different ways that you may utilize a child-sized table and chair set: 💚 Prepare a non-distracting and accessible space for snacks, but have your child seated with the family for social same-level interaction for dinner 💚 Keep the table in their bedroom, like a desk 💚 Include it in your calm corner, where the child can retreat to a peaceful spot as they process their feelings 💚This can be their special meal spot. You can choose to use the table for solo meals or snacks in a quiet spot, especially if the child needs a break from highly stimulating spaces.
