[ Windborne Files ] Luna Collection The first Luna Bag was born in 2022. It has since become one of Songmont’s most beloved pieces among our friends overseas, having traveled across six continents and reached 128 countries. The Luna Bag comes in four sizes and over a dozen nature-inspired colors, such as Jade, Ivory, and Amber. “The moon waxes and wanes.” In Eastern culture, the moon often carries meanings of longing and connection. Luna Bag was born from this very sentiment. On Luna Bag, you can see both crescent and full moon shapes—just like the moon phases observed by ancient stargazers. At this exhibition, we built a kinetic moon-phase installation⁽¹⁾ that mirrors this spirit. Surrounded by the 28 lunar mansions⁽¹⁾, the stars and moon shimmer together—don’t forget to make a wish as we gaze at the sky. To give the bag a full, rounded form, the designer used a custom-made mold and a traditional leather-stretching technique. The shape is inspired by Ru ware porcelain, soft and plump like a moon jar.
