Look for The Anchor... A New ‘Maker’s Mark’ to Celebrate 10 Years⚓ We like to think of Smithey as a young company with an old soul. Inspired by vintage American cookware, we’ve spent the last 10 years crafting every Smithey near Charleston’s waters—from a backyard workshop to a garage by Folly Beach, and now to an old Naval base surrounded by ships. In honor of our 10th anniversary and the old shipyard where your carbon steel cookware is forged by a team of artisan blacksmiths, we’ve added something special to our new carbon steel Fish Skillet – a small anchor ‘maker’s mark’. This mark is intended as a happy wink to our navy base home and our makers and this moment in time – as we like to say, we hope you'll find it Perfectly Done…
