Bubba, Watching you be a dad is one of the greatest joys of my life. You’re the ultimate girl dad, and our daughters absolutely adore you. You’re their safe place, their biggest cheerleader, and their greatest teacher. You’ve shown them what it means to support others with your whole heart and that cheering someone else on doesn’t take anything away from them. And they’ve learned that by watching you. You’re loyal, romantic, and the funniest man I’ve ever known. You have us all laughing until we can’t breathe, and somehow you manage to keep us grounded and light at the same time. Our home is filled with joy because of you. Just the other night, Bentley and I were watching a musical with an arranged marriage, and I asked her if she could imagine that happening. She didn’t even flinch. So calm and confident, she said, “Not scary to me. I trust Dad with my whole life.” That moment said everything. That’s the kind of dad you are. You’ve given our girls the kind of father every child deserves and the kind of love I still thank God for every day.
