Founder of The Mend House, Saskia has been championing repair over replace since 2020. Her relaxed, practical sessions bring people together through the timeless act of textile repair. Whether you’re entirely new to mending or looking to refine your skills, Saskia will guide you through visible and invisible mending for woven fabrics — cotton, linen, and silk — with tailored support for more advanced repairs. You’ll learn a variety of techniques, have time to practise them, and begin work on an item you’re encouraged to bring along.
