Our one-step mix guarantees consistent, professional results for a variety of desserts and baking applications.. RECIPE: Dessert Shells INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Prepare meringue topping. Add hot tap water (120-140°F) to a grease-free mixing bowl. Add sugar and Meringue Base. With a whisk, hand stir to dissolve. Whip on medium speed for 2 minutes. Stop and scrape down. Continue to whip on high speed until meringue forms a medium peak. 2. Pipe or spoon 4-inch circles of Meringue onto a paper-lined baking sheet. 3. For shells, shape a depression in the center with back of a spoon. 4. Bake in a 225˚F oven for about 4 hours. For best flavor do not brown. 5. Let shells cool completely (1-2 hrs) in closed oven after baking. 6. For variety, add sifted cocoa, coconut, nuts, chocolate chips or ready-to-eat cereals.
