Bike Check: Custom Santa Cruz Skitch • The Skitch is a big employee favorite here at the Santa Cruz Factory. If you have one, you know how the bike transforms your commute, your daily errands, or just gets you out for a quick loop after work to blow off some steam as the days get shorter, darker, and colder. When we were developing the Skitch our engineering and product management teams deployed a fleet of pre-production versions to be ridden until the wheels fall off, for long-term testing, and to iron out any issues in the final design. One of these bikes went to Joel Smith at @reservewheels and he has been finessing the sleek and stealthy pre-production version you see here into what he feels is the perfect commuting machine.
