📣 You’ll never see this moment the same again.… A friend recently shared a story that made everyone smile. It had been one of those nonstop days—school drop-offs, errands, dishes in the sink, and dinner still unplanned. She told us, “I was rushing around and feeling completely behind on everything. But then my toddler ran up to me with sticky hands, gave me a huge hug, and said, ‘Mommy, you’re the best cooker ever!’” She laughed, “It was mac and cheese—but in that moment, I felt like a queen.” Instead of brushing it off, she paused, looked around her messy kitchen, and felt this quiet prompting:
“This is a blessing. Say thank you.” So she did. She thanked Heavenly Father for little arms wrapped around her. For the noise. For the mess. For the gift of being in that moment. She said, “Nothing big changed, but I felt this lightness in my heart. I felt joy again.” She stood still, held onto that moment, and quietly whispered, “Thank you.” 
Not just for the hug, but for the mess, the noise, the chance to be right here, right now. She told us, “I didn’t realize how much gratitude could change my heart. Nothing around me changed, but everything felt different.” Gratitude doesn’t erase the chaos, but it fills the heart with light. It opens our eyes to the Savior’s love, even in things we don’t yet understand. And when we thank Him, especially in the ordinary, overlooked moments, we begin to see Him more clearly in all things. So this week, ask yourself: When has gratitude changed the way you see your life? How did it help you draw closer to Jesus Christ? Because the miracle isn’t always in the answer, it’s in the moment our hearts turn toward heaven and whisper, thank You.
