🎉11 Years of Sackcloth & Ashes This all started because of my mom. In 2013, after a series of losses, she became unhoused and battled addiction. I called local shelters, asking what they needed most. They said blankets. The idea was simple: I’d start a blanket company, and for every blanket sold, we’d donate one to a shelter or someone in need. What began as a way to help my mom and people like her has become a national movement powered by artists, activists, organizations, and everyday people who believe in showing up for others. Today, my mom is healthy and thriving. Sackcloth & Ashes is 11 years old. Thank you to everyone who’s been part of this story. Here’s to what’s next.
