We are humbled and honored to partner with the Nakai Organic Tea Farm, a family-owned tea farm with over 350 years of growing, cultivating, and processing the highest quality tea leaves. rocky’s matcha Organic Single Cultivar Nakai Okumidori Matcha is an organic, single-origin tea produced by Nakai Organic Tea Farm in Wazuka, Kyoto, Japan. Sourced from the Okumidori cultivar, the tea leaves are then ground slowly with traditional stone mill, resulting in a very fine powder. The end result is a creamy matcha with a distinct sweetness—uniquely comparable to white chocolate, roasted chestnuts, and a hint of nori.
