• More Than Kicks 👟 Meet Michael Kameo. A 20 month old full of endless love no matter who he was with. Unfortunately Michael passed away in 2020 due to a respiratory virus (not covid related,) leaving behind his mother, father, and sister. It was his father that reached out to me about turning his son’s shoes, that he has been keeping in his office, into an art piece to hang up in remembrance. It didn’t take much to convince me. It took a little more convincing though to make a video out of it to share. It was one of those things that I feel didn’t need to be done for clicks from people on the internet. But due to this family’s generous souls turning a tragedy into something that’s helped feed over 500 families, make holiday costumes for over 1,300 children, and more, I think in this case, their story was worth telling. For now on, I’m going to accept projects like this. Where I find people who have lost their loved ones and turn their shoes into something they can hang up. I will leave it up to them whether they want me to make a video from it or not. Whether it’s sneakers, baseball cleats, golf shoes, etc, I will try my best to create a piece that will help them remember all the great memories.
