Definitely the best babysitting job I’ve ever had 😆 This is common for mama bears to do in this area of Katmai National Park, because male bears are less likely to come close to the cubs if they are near humans. And sadly it is all too common that male bears will attack cubs in order to mate with the females, so it’s important for the mamas to be extra diligent.
