I'm back! Good news, the girls seem to have recognized me and were happy to cuddle. Bad news, I got sick travelling back from seeing family so I've be slow to get back here. Bourbon of course started her heat while I was gone, and Whiskey is miffed to have a sister again (she preferred her gentleman housemate Jack).  I always thought that travelling would get addictive and I would get back excited to plan the next one, never wanting to go home but it usually reminds me how lucky I am to have the life I do. Our breakfast routine, morning walks, following the cutest tails around the neighborhood and fresh bread with our friends mean so much to me. Back to the smell of rainy forests, getting back in shape, and the isothermic mush of spring snow.
