Happy 5th Birthday to my funny, charming, derpy, happy, screaming, sensitive, dramatic noodle. On her best days we run around the alpine lakes and sleep in tents. On her worst days, we trim nails ☠️ From our first week together, when she ran down the road to join a neighbour's birthday party and shoved her face into cake, to her birthday just last year when she found a confident marmot to start a screaming match with, I am so grateful that this ginger insanity fell into my lap.  My most vivid memories of Bourbon⤵️ 😮her very healthy vocal cords screaming on the plane home from @alpine.vizslas making the entire plane laugh during takeoff instructions 🤦‍♀️regularly spending half an hour at 11pm trying to find Bourbon in the neighbourhood after she would go out for her last pee and not return 😬hearing she started her first heat on Ben's lap (@onthewing_media sorry!) 😮an 8 day backcountry trip when she just wouldn't rest. She ran the entirety of the days in mountains and I still had to walk her the next day we got home 😫siccing a racoon on Whiskey the evening before a big camping trip 🤦‍♀️hiding in a tunnel during our first agility competition 🤦‍♀️turning up on the "lost dogs" section of facebook after I went off on vacation 😮tracked over 1.4km away from me before dawn on a snowy mountain hike 🤮barffing up a gallon of raw rotten salmon under my desk as I was working ☺️charming everyone she meets 😬screaming so loudly when I do her nails that neighbours come around to make sure "she wasn't being attacked or trapped" ❤️making me laugh everyday no matter what is happening in the real world
