We’re thrilled to announce the first workshop for this year’s Collective Summit: a creative session led by acclaimed Western artist Jill Soukup, whose paintings have chronicled life at Ranchlands for over a decade. From horseback riding scenes to bison studies, Jill’s work reflects her deep familiarity with the ranches we’ve called home. Now for the first time on the Paintrock Canyon Ranch, as part of the Collective Summit programming, Jill will lead a two-hour workshop, guiding Summit participants through the ways art can deepen your relationship with the land. You’ll join her outside for an informal sketching demonstration and conversation about how observation shapes creativity and how creativity, in turn, fosters a sense of belonging to place. Programming at the Summit will include additional workshops on conservation and land stewardship, so stay tuned as we announce more sessions in the coming weeks!
