THE VENTURE KIT IS HERE! A few weeks back, I teased that we’ve been working with @runinrabbit to bring to life an idea I’ve had in my brain for some time. After years of calls, meetings, and dozens of prototypes, The Venture Kit is finally primed and ready for your next long adventure. The idea was simple: sustainable, adaptable and able to do MORE with LESS. Could we make a pair of shorts that could carry all your necessities AND water flasks? We’re talking phone, keys, wallet, a bunch of nutrition, a bear horn, maybe some grapes, and a custom Hydrapak ultraflask speed 17oz? Let alone be stable, comfortable and feel like silk? What about a matching stylish oversized t-shirt with a cool high/low hem, laser perfs (PerspPerfs), and a chest pocket for wrappers? What about inclusive sizing and a fit that’s comfortable and performs for all? The execution took time. The team at rabbit took my ideas, rough sketches, and long ramblings to their designers, and together we worked through change after change until we got it just right. It took a few years, but we hope the extra effort shows. With unique men’s and women’s kits, featuring shorts, a short sleeve top, an Ice RAD-dana, and a @rnnr.co running trucker cap, the Venture Kit is built for runners who have adventure on their minds. I’m so stinking proud of how it all came together. From the number and size of the pockets, to the angle of the FlaskFit pockets for quick draw drinking, to the feel and sustainability of the fabrics, every inch was considered. It’s built to carry more, feel better, and look phenomenal. And this is just the start. I can’t wait to share even more of the wild details packed into this kit.
