“To be honest, it was pretty straightforward. The most difficult part was about the glasses. We wanted to shoot without any VFX and do everything in camera. So we « simply » rigged some clamps and we had a 2nd AC running behind the talent to lock the clamp when the talent was putting back the glasses. It was a lot of trial and error to do that. For the broken glasses part we had to break one of the lens to create the effect and glue it together. We didn’t know which result we will have at this point, kind of happy accident! And the final thing to say about it was about the fact that it was real glasses with a +8 correction on it. Pretty big diopter in a way !
