should kids cold plunge? I asked my 12 year old, Ella, what she would say to any kids who ask if they should cold plunge. If you know us or if you’ve been to our house, you’ve probably got an opportunity to try one. My kids are always challenging each other and their friends to take the plunge. But it’s always safe. We live in Fl, so a 55° cold plunge can actually feel refreshing after playing in the sun all day. We allow them to use these tools freely, they have learned to listen to their body and instinct and know when it’s time to get out, and when to skip it. We’ve learned as parents just how strong, brave, and resilient these kids are. Before this clip, me and Ella sat in a 210° sauna for 8 minutes chatting about our day together, no tech, just us two. Those are moments we’ll never forget. So, should kids cold plunge? Should they workout? Should they sauna… I’d say that answer belongs to them.
