I’m embarrassed to admit this, but this is our first set of blocks EVER and it did not disappoint 🫣 It checked off all the boxes ✅ I don’t know why it took us this long to get our first set. The kids wanted to go to the Zoo and they took it upon themselves to build their very own. Truth be told they’re not just blocks. Block play challenges and encourages their creative and problem solving skills one block at a time. It’s a way to form connections, story-telling, cause & effect, teamwork, patience, and perseverance. It brought them together and they played happily for a long period of time! Their imagination was sparked and I was able to get through lesson planning while they played happily together. WHAT!? Yup, no interruptions. . . .
