10 years ago, as he was pondering the last 50 years of his life and looking forward to the next 50, we made the decision to start Perk. Most people don’t start something completely new at this stage in their life, but that tells you who he is. He is optimistic. He is hopeful. He is so creative! He believes in connection and joy for everyone in his life. Without him, there would be no Perk. He’s the glue holding our family together. He is the peacemaker. He is the nurturer. To all of you, He is Mr. Perk. To all of our family, he is Papa G. To me, he’s my Gary. Happy 60th to everyone’s favorite guy!
