American motorsport should be celebrated, even though it’s often mocked internationally and the cars that came out as a consequence of it are trolled like they can only go fast in a straight line and handle poorly. But if you really look at the numbers, the Chevrolet Corvettes, Dodge Vipers, and the more recent Mustang are legit sports cars with amazing performance, up there competing with Europe’s and Japan’s best.
