We stopped by the surface of the moon (aka Badlands) on our road trip to Montana. Watched Ghost’s nose wiggle in the wind out the car window, hundreds of prairie dogs like upright furry bowling pins on the horizon, one itchy buffalo scratch itself against the park entry sign, a sighting of the endangered black footed ferret, who went from burrow to burrow looking for prairie dogs to eat, and one lone coyote on the side of a mountain facing the setting sun, oblivious to the crowd of tourists pointing their camera and phones towards him. @outdoorvoices #partnership
