If you told us 10 years ago that @kai_lenny, maybe the world’s best board rider would be repping the wheel, we’d have thought you lost the plot. But here we are, picking up burritos and checking the surf with the iconic waterman himself. For someone who does 360’s on the face of Jaws, Kai is amazingly laid back and humble. He’s a dreamer. His curiosity and imagination shine through as he tells us he wants to ride a cloud, mountains, waves, everything. That’s why he’s pushed every board riding technology to the brink of possible. It makes perfect sense why he rides a wheel, or his ‘land foil’ as he calls it. He’s obviously dripping with talent but there’s more to him. He’s an optimist, he believes there’s more out there to be discovered and explored. He chases it. He’s in the business of making the future rad.
