The Year of the Snake 🐍 Commemorating the Chinese Zodiac Calendar cycle, Momotaro are back again this year with their special edition “Eto” Selvedge Jeans - which celebrates the Year of the Snake for 2025. Starting with the denim itself, the fabric has been produced under the “Tokuno Blue” lens, Momotaro’s new philosophy that celebrates Japan’s rich heritage and culture surrounding indigo and denim. Opting for a 14.9oz. weight denim, the covert twill weave featured in this fabric exhibits an overall refined look and feel that is sure to fade beautifully over time. Along with Momotaro’s updated metal hardware, a custom indigo-dyed saddle leather patch and “Year of the Snake” back pocket print are featured in the jeans, along with a custom serial number being woven into each pair. The interior waistband features a custom woven label with the phrase “永寿嘉福” (Eiju Kafuku), meaning “eternal longevity and happiness,” serving as a heartfelt message from Momotaro to the wearer.
