The running revival is here. From the vintage GEL-CUMULUS™ 16 to the next-gen SONICBLAST™, we’re celebrating ASICS past, present, and future — style, speed, and bounce reimagined. A few months ago, Chris ( @irunfortacos ), Rami (@ramii.eth ), Nick (@nicky_wolves.4k ), and I (@mikey.ricks ) met at a coffee shop to get some ideas rolling on this event, and since then, we’ve built out a series of plans, vendors, and surprises to make this one of the biggest ASICS events New Orleans has seen. We’ve got giveaways, shoe demos during the run, music, coffee, pacers for different time groups, and of course, miles to put down. Nothing like running through the streets of NOLA on a Saturday morning — the energy, the people, the city itself — and we wanted this event to capture that spirit. After the run, we’ll all hang out with music, coffee, and the chance to buy the two featured ASICS shoes. There’s a ton of behind-the-scenes work happening to make this event feel truly special — something with a one-of-one energy. This will be the first-ever Running Revival. On Saturday, September 27th, 2025, we’ll meet at 814 Canal St. (Nouveau). Doors will open around 8 AM for arrivals, with the true event kicking off at 9 AM. We’ll start with a quick introduction, go over how the run will operate, and share all the info you’ll need. We’ve got special surprises in store — so showing up early might be a play. Can’t wait to see you all out there, it’s going to be a crazy day. Everyone invited. This event is a cross-partnership between ASICS, Boring Run Club, Nouveau, and Varsity Sports Louisiana, with some amazing designs handled by Signed by Ciara, with more to come.
