Shutters has long been a sun-washed icon by the sea — a beloved meeting place with the feeling of a well-loved coastal home. When approaching the redesign of the lobby, @AmyMKehoe and our design team's goal was to preserve its soul while subtly evolving it for today’s traveler. Working closely with ownership, we created a warm, welcoming space: layered with custom and vintage pieces, intimate seating clusters, and thoughtful design choices that improved flow and comfort. A fresh palette of ivory and tan, East Coast touches, and ambient lighting now fill the space with light and ease.
