Scotlands Strongest Man Qualifier 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿💪🏽 @scotlandsstrongestman Taking 42nd in this today is something i am very proud of. Took a big jump up. The weights and importantly the standard was massive compared to what i am used to. Gave myself only 1 goal today and that was to hit my first 300kg deadlift for 1 rep. Spoiler alert… smashed it. Thanks @grahamhicksuk for the advice etc during this PB! Event 1: 300kg Deadlift for reps - 2 reps. Event 2: 135kg Log Press for reps - Did not attempt. Event 3: Gas Bottle Farmers for distance - 15m Event 4: Anchor n Chain Drag (350kg total weight) - missed completion by the smallest of margins. Event 5: Atlas Stone Run - 100,120,140 all loaded. Burst n missed the 160. Overall i am happy with my performance. Ive taken alot from today and getting to be amoungst the best in Scotland, getting their support and watching them do their thing is something i dont take for granted. A great comp that was run very well thanks to @stuartmurray29 , @benjoyce130 and the crew for making it that way. And of course @keldo for the great MC work as always. Cant thank everyone who was there enough for the support all day. You all know who you are, family and friends! A big thanks to @last_rep_coaching for the preparation into this comp and for always being there and listening to my issues or even my thoughts on the training etc. it went to plan and we hit what we wanted.
