Originally purchased by the American Potash and Chemical Company, headquartered at 6th and Virgil in Los Angeles, this chair was used for decades since its immediate post-war acquisition. Unlike many vintage pieces that have been restored or stripped of their history, this chair retains its original shock mounts, hardware, and the early Evans/Herman Miller/Eames paper label, which was only issued between 1946 and 1947.
