Mint Crew Selvedge Denim Carpenter shorts now live 🌎🛠️ If you’ve ever dabbled in world of high-end premium denim it’s safe to say you’ve heard the word Selvedge Denim tossed around. Well what is it exactly? Selvedge denim is denim produced using denim that is produced in low volume on traditional shuttle looms (like Levi’s started using in 1915). The result is a narrow fabric that is characterized with clean edges on either side of the fabric. These edges are visible when you cuff or turn your jeans inside out. For our denim we chose the traditional red line Selvedge which is a staple in the world of denim connoisseurs.
