Today, we raise a glass to sisterhood, the kind born not just of blood, but of destiny. We didn’t grow up together. In fact, we didn’t even know the other existed. Two lives, two continents, thousands of miles apart, but both shaped by the rhythm of the ocean and the soul of wine country. Robin, raised along the sun-drenched coast of Monterey, California. Andréa, growing up by the sea in Aotearoa New Zealand. It wasn’t until 1999 that we met for the first time. That moment changed everything. In each other, we discovered not only a shared lineage, but a shared calling—a love for wine, for storytelling, for culture, and for creating something meaningful together. What began as the union of two long-lost sisters became the birth of a mission: to transform an industry, uplift our communities, and build a legacy rooted in authenticity, intention, exploration and love. Through this journey, we’ve come to understand what sisterhood truly means. It’s not limited to family by blood, it’s the chosen bonds, the shared purpose, the way women show up for each other across oceans and time zones. We’ve found sisterhood everywhere, in the women who walk beside us, lift us up, pour into us, and believe in the magic we’re building. So today, on National Sibling Day, we toast to the unlikeliest journey, the deepest bond, and the infinite reach of sisterhood. It’s where our story begins, and where it keeps going.
