microplastics are everywhere, relatively untested but what we do know is not good. they are toxic and accumulate in our bodies, in a lancelet study, they were found in 100% of people tested (it was a small study but you get the idea). you can’t 100% avoid them but you can lower your risk / exposure. quite simply, avoid plastic everywhere including bottles, bags, food storage containers, kitchen utensils. buy organic produce especially leafy green lettuces, root vegetables like potatoes and carrots, all grain, and berries. a lot of the plastic that enters our farmland is via sewer sludge used exclusively in conventional farming. sewer sludge is BANNED in organic farming. i third party test lovebird for all plasticizers and we are a non detect 🙌🏻
