Not my usual map post.... But here's a sailboat on the back of a tortoise. Sailing and Map making goes together like pizza and mayo since 20,000 BC. The two were inextricably connected up until the last hundred years or so. So I've been making it my duty to learn the declining art of sailing. I took a sailing class at the @annapolissailingschool (*not sponsored by them*) and got completely inspired. I'm determined to sail around the Great Salt Lake making a map based on my findings. Heck why stop there? I bet I could write off a sailboat as a business expense if I use it to create new maps. I'm sure if I could sail around Puerto Rico it would help me tremendously. Speaking of which, Puerto Rico is launching this week. I finally finished that wonderful island.
