Apparently my mom (and founder of Lo & Sons) was born in heaven, which might explain why she’s such an angel. 😇 When she was extremely young, because of a civil war in China, her family immigrated to a small Portuguese colony called Macau and then shortly after her father passed away from cancer. So she faced huge adversity at a very young age. But she was fortunate that her mom got a job at a Catholic boarding school, which allowed her to go to school there and learn English. So it’s very possible she could have ended up becoming a nun and I would have never been born and she never would have started Lo & Sons.
