everything is waves. 🌊 the crashing of ocean waves - those are sound waves. texting a beautiful photo of the ocean to a friend? radio waves. even the sight of a gull, bobbing in the breeze - you can see it because our eyes perceive wavelengths of light that fall within the visible spectrum (technically, light is both a wave and a particle - and kind of neither. but you see where we're going here).⁣ ⁣ maybe that's why lakes and oceans hold such a special place for us. they're a great, roiling visualization of the invisible sea of waves all around us.⁣ ⁣ or maybe, we just love swimmin'. maybe we love boats and sun and sand castles. maybe we're overthinking it.⁣ ⁣ maybe. 🏖️
